K89 Royal Guard

Duties

The Royal Guard is the body of players appointed by the Court to handle ROE violations. They are volunteers who assess and assign compensation, determine whether a particular activity was a violation, and act as the last line of arbitration prior to declaring anyone an outlaw. They are charged to make their rulings strictly in accordance with the Kingdom’s ROE, and operate under the direct supervision of the Hand of the King.

 

 

What the Royal Guard is not:

The Guard are not enforcers, bully boys, thugs, or a “secret” body of any sort. They do not show partiality, they do not give findings involving their own clan, and they do not act on their own initiative, or under the guidance of anything save the ROE. They do not exceed their authority, and they do not directly enforce their rulings, or their decrees.

 

About Violation Reports and Guard Cases

Simple guidelines for a smooth interaction with the Guard!

 

 

Before bringing your case before the Guard:

1) Ensure that the personal contact period of 12 hours has expired

2) If the putative offender is a member of a clan, ensure also that the diplomatic period of an additional 12 hours has likewise expired.

3) Ensure that you are bringing your case to the Guard within 24 hours of the expiration of the personal contact period.

Presenting your case is very simple!

Simply post your Battle Report in K89 Violation Reports. That is all you need to do. Apart from posting battle reports, and Guardsman updates, this channel is READ ONLY.

If you have further information about the case, or want to give us any explanatory information, use the channel K89 Violation Chat. You are allowed to chat, vent, or discuss current violations with the Guard, or with other players, in this channel.
